Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
Bins-USA is a Shopify app that records where your products are stored in your warehouse. This policy explains what we hold, why, and who else sees it.
What we collect
From your Shopify store: the store domain and name, an access token, your products and variants, inventory quantities, locations, orders and their line items, and vendor names. We only read what the app needs to show bins, pick lists, counts and reports.
Created inside the app: your bins and what is in them, cycle counts, transfers, purchase orders, vendor contacts you enter, and — on the Pro plan — the names and roles of people you add, plus a one-way hash of any PIN. We never store a PIN in readable form.
If you write to us through the contact form, we keep your name, email and message so we can reply.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. Three providers process data on our behalf: Render hosts our servers and database in the United States; Resend delivers email you ask us to send; and Anthropic powers the in-app help assistant — when you type a message there, that conversation is sent to their API to produce an answer. Do not put anything confidential in the chat.
How long we keep it
Your bin and inventory data is kept for 90 days after you uninstall or cancel, so that reinstalling restores everything. After that it is deleted. If Shopify sends us a data erasure request for your shop, we delete your data immediately.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it before the 90 days are up. Write to sales@bins-usa.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Access tokens are encrypted at rest. All traffic uses HTTPS. Access to the production database is restricted to the people who operate the service.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
